Earth-Wise and Okanagan Dock and Dive Support Lake Okanagan Dredging Project

A recent dredging project on Okanagan Lake in Green Bay, West Kelowna, is helping move material transfer operations to new depths. Earth-Wise Waste Management partnered with Okanagan Dock and Dive to support the approximately 30 day dredging project using barge-mounted bins and excavation support equipment designed for efficient material handling on the water.

Supporting Dredging Operations on Lake Okanagan

The project involves removing lake bottom material and transporting it from the dredging area to shore where it can be offloaded by excavator and left to dry. To support the operation Earth-Wise supplied large bins positioned directly on the barge platform, allowing dredged material to be transferred efficiently between the excavation area and the shoreline staging location. The pickup point for the operation was Green Bay in West Kelowna, with crews coordinating both marine and land-based equipment throughout the project.
